CCA Staff
All of our teachers and staff are committed to providing a safe, quality education to each student. They have committed themselves to caring and praying for each student. CCA is blessed with academically qualified instructors, and “Academic Excellence” is their motto.
Dr. Wynn has twenty-three years experience in the Christian education field. He serves as the Administrator of the school, and as the Pastor/Lead Elder of Community Baptist Church since 1999.
Mrs. Elias has a been a teacher for over twenty-eight years. As a graduate of the University of Alabama and a certified Georgia teacher, she is a great credit to CCA.
CCA was blessed to name her as the School Director in 2022, and she is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the school. She is a very qualified and capable leader in this position.
Ms. Cayla is a 2010 graduate of Lighthouse Christian Academy. She graduated from Pensacola Christian College and received her teaching credentials. After teaching in a school in North Alabama, we were blessed to be able to have her return and become part of the CCA staff.
Mrs. Wynn has been involved with teaching and Christian education for over twenty years. She has been the supervisor of our Kindergarten grades since 2017. She is a blessing to our school.
Mrs. Walker joined our volunteer staff in 2018. She assisted the teachers in whatever tasks necessary. We cannot express how blessed we are to have her working with us. She is a blessing.
Mrs. Slavy has been a part of the CCA staff since 2015. She teachers private piano lessons, and the weekly music class. She is a faithful blessing to CCA as she encourages the students to yield their talents to the Lord for His glory.
Mr. Slavy has served as School Chaplain since 2015, and he has been able to counsel and pray with many students over the years. He conducts and preaches at the weekly chapel service and is a blessing to the students. He also serves as an elder of Community Baptist Church.
