Please encourage your child to help those who are less fortunate, by bringing canned food items to the school until NOVEMBER 20.
Let’s show our love & concern for others!
Our 1st Quarter Awards & Recognition ceremony was great! It was exciting to be able to recognize and award the students for their hard work during the first quarter of our academic year.
The ceremony opened with Mr. Titus Slavy (4th grade) leading the pledges to the flags, the Bible and the church. His brother, Mr. Peter Slavy (4th grade) led the students in reciting Psalms 19:1-14. Wow! The students did an incredible job singing and quoting the Scriptures. Dr. Wynn then delivered a passionate message about training our descendants to be able to stand for God in the middle of a pagan culture.
Then came the time for the students to receive their awards & recognition, and what a blessing it was! The CCA staff is proud of the accomplishments of the students.
Congratulations to the Student Council for a very successful Hot Lunch on Thursday, October 17. We want to say “THANK YOU” also to all of the parents and friends who came and supported the effort. We even were blessed by the ladies from the Christian Women’s Job Corp joining us with their support by buying lunch.
The lunch consisted of grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, drink and ice cream…ALL FOR ONLY $5. That was a great deal!
Thank you to the Student Council and staff of CCA. You all are a great blessing!

The students, who were on academic level, had a wonderful trip the Columbus Fire Department Station #4. They were able to learn more about how the firemen respond to an emergency, and the work they do.
The Level Field Trips are always a great time of learning and fun for the students.
CCA has purchased a 28×70 (1960 sq. ft.) modular building! Over the next 60 days we will be getting the site plan, approval from the city, and then moving it to our property on Fortson Road. Please join us in praying for the Lord to provide all of the needed funds, and for a quick approval from the city of Columbus.
